the clinical software module for Practice 2000. Medinet
includes the following features:
- Prescription writing, including PBS,
RPBS, authority scripts ...
- Full medical record (progress notes,
history, allergy ...)
- Easy to use. If you have used
other clinical software before, you should have no problem
using Medinet.
- MIMS drug database, including drug-drug
interaction and the more advanced drug-health and drug-allergy
interactions
- Pathology/radiology downloading in HL7
format
- Document processing and storage,
including X-rays, scanned documents, voice recordings
- Letter writing
- Recalls
- Regular MIMS update through the
Internet

- Free data conversion from MD2 and MD3
- No licence fee for Practice 2000
clients; just annual subscription fee
- Fee includes MIMS drug database
- Fee is based on the number of doctors.
A full-time doctor counts as 1, a part-time doctor (<25
hours a week) counts as 0.5
