Starting from 2004, Practice 2000 SQL has been offering HIC Online. It represents the future for doctors and medical practices in Australia. HIC Online allows practices to carry out all the correspondence with HIC and Medicare, including bulk billing, in an online environment and in real time.

The current version of Practice 2000 includes HIC Online 2.8.6, which features Patient claims and Bulk-bill claims for Medicare, Department of Veterans Affair claims and Australian Child Immunisation claims.

From April 2005, Practice 2000 will offer HIC Online - Eclipse. This module allows Practitioner claim benefit from Health Fund for their professional services.
